Warranties for Chemicals

Hi. I am trying to find out the warranty requirements for the different chemicals. Are these chemicals approved by Owens Corning or Manufactures of Shingles? Does our chemicals in any way compromise the warranty from the manufacturer?

Can SH damage gutters?

A local radio construction show had a special on cleaning roofs yesterday. The gentleman suggested excessive bleach can actually burn holes in gutters. Has anyone heard of or had any experience with this?
