HELLO Joseph! You will love RCIA!!! It will help you more than any other 1 thing, when it comes to roof cleaning!!!

My name is Joseph Gozzo, owner of Hydra Roof and Pressure Cleaning in Jupiter, Fl. After ten years in the Finance Industry, I decided to quit my job and start a pressure cleaning company. My brother has been in the pressure cleaning business for over ten years and after working with him for a few months, I decided to start my own. Right now I am using 40 gallons of chlorine, 40 gallons of water, and a bottle of dawn dish soap as my roof wash formula. Yes, a 44 ounce bottle of either Dawn or Gain dish liquid- If run off is a real problem, I suggest you tarp all soft leafed plants and keep the rest rinsed throughout the entire job-to the last minute! I also use stuck up if the customer has no gutters, to keep the chemicals on the roof and not run off onto the landscaping. ?? Stuck Up?? Any insight into a good formula would be much appreciated. I am also interested in hearing thoughts on house wash formula. I use a very expensive eco friendly cleaner now, and looking for something more affordable that will not damage paint on exterior walls. Simple Cherry is good for house wash, mixed with the pure chlorine your chemical injector is sucking from. Or, you can just put a little Dawn or Gain in the mix? Like a cup to 35 gallons.

Thank you for your insight. Pressure Washers USA in West Palm sells a solution called STUCK UP. It keeps the chlorine on the roof and limits runoff tremendously. I was told to use this if the customer does NOT have gutters. I have 100 gallon chemical tank and will fill it with simple cherry and pure chlorine and use through my chemical injector to wash exterior walls, right? thanks again for all your help

a 50/50 chlorine to water mix is much too strong for shingle roofs, and we only use that strong of a mix on the worst tile roofs!

For house washing, a 5 gallon bucket full of chlorine and some soap goes a long way if you are downstreaming(chemical injector). 1 gallon of bleach to 10 gallons of water is all you need for house washing and that's all you are going to get out of your chemical injector. More less. Depending on you machine's GPM. Hope this helps. Oh. One more thing. Become a paid member. You will not regret it.

I am on so many meds I can't think straight!

I concentrated on the soaps / surfactants and "Stuck Up" [which I had never heard of] and completely missed that you said you were using a 50/50 SH mix!
