I have been around air compressors all my life and I find this amount of damage totally unbelievable. Did every seam and weld on that tank decide to let go at the same time? I doubt it. That small of a tank would have blown a hole somewhere and been empty within mili-seconds without the damage shown. Just like a tire blowing out. Somethinjg smells "fishy".

I know, usually when they go, they can scare the Chit out of you, when the compressed air finds a hole to escape from.
