I don't burn bushes or plants so no pics here!

You're going to have the guy sign a paper that says he's not going to write you a bad review? The guy probably didnt think about writing a bad review until you mentioned it.

I suggest that if you are going to pay him $200 that you just pay it and apologize-even though you didn't do it and be nice and let him forget it. If he wants, he can sign your paper and get a bunch of friends to give you bad reviews like "I was looking for someone to clean my roof and I noticed "SO & SO" had his roof cleaned by Gutterdog and while the roof looked ok, Gutterdog killed an expensive plant and refused to pay for it" yada yada yada. Unfortunately, once you pay him anything, you have admitted burning the plant, just by paying him. Best thing left to do IF YOU PAY, is be nice and apologize and hope that's the end of it.
Instead of having him sign anything, just write on your check "Payment in full for plant damage" in case he were to try for more money later.

He said the bush has gotten worse since I was there. Asked if I was insured. This guy trying to get a new car outa me! lol!!!

I stand behind my guys that they didn't do it. The burnt section is not on the top of the bush but the side facing out away from the house down about half way.

I told the owner the only way this could've happened is they got the guns mixed up. If joe was spraying water on the roof and Bobby was spraying the bushes with chemical. They are two different guns!

Ya, saying "If joe was spraying water on the roof and Bobby was spraying the bushes with chemical." gave him ammo. But of course, not just 1 bush would show it!

With a horticulturalist on my side, I would not pay a penny. I'd just send him a copy registered mail and be done.
