After lots of delays for various reasons I am finally getting my van on the road. There is still some work to be done such as an extra bar on the roof to support the ladders when they are being put on or taken off, a roller to make it easier to put them on or take them off.
The tanks in the photos will have to be fixed in with a frame which will support the hose reels you see on the plywood. ( this is a trial working version )The pressure washer, generator, hot box have to be secured.
Basically (from the back of the cab) I have a 650ltr tank which stores purified water for window cleaning, a 200ltr tank to feed the pressure washer, a 200ltr tank for SH mix. On the left hand side I have a 100 ltr tank for Biocide, a 25 ltr fatbboy pump which is not connected in the photos, a hose reel mounted above to spray the biocide. ( A lot of our tile roofs are 50/ 60 years old or maybe older. I have found that the SH will eat the color( the little bit left) which was baked on and leave the tiles a lifeless dull grey while the Biocide is gentler.
When customers want their old roofs moss free we prespray with the Biocide, come back after a week or so, scrape off the moss and respray with Biocide. The black fungus dies and is washed off by the rain leaving the roof looking clean with no damage to the color.
Under the back shutter we have the pressure washer reel on the left, SH reel in the middle and a window cleaning reel in on the right.
Underneath these are the pentelaflex 25 ltr pump and a shurflo 5/6 ltr pump with controller for window cleaning plus 12v batteries.
On the right we have a 40ltr tank with a degreaser which we use for cleaning gutters etc ( I prefer it to SH and it leaves a nice shine on the gutters etc, a pump for same, ( reel not in picture) a pump and reel for second man window cleaning. On the plywood a reel to feed the pressure washer. That is basically our set up. Some other things are not in the photos such as window cleaning poles etc.
