Everyone who posts here are great guys and am sure none here participate in this type of activity but if you look at the numbers of visitors who visit this site every day, you would be surprised at how many people/ competitors are "lurking" and just reading but not posting.

Why they don't post and contribute? Who know's but the bottom line is that anyone that "Click Bombs" someones AdSense adds, is cutting their own throat if they bank on Google for their exposure on the web.

LOL, I used to have a "neat little tool"

It was a automatic website clicker! You programmed several proxy servers into it, and "turned it loose"!

It would HIT whatever website or Adword account you wanted it too.

It changed your own URL, to make it look like whatever URL's you had programmed in it.

I found it useful for increasing Alexa Rank!

You could even program it to spend time, on a website !

Chris, I personally think anyone that would click other peoples Google adds are dam scumbags and I'm sure you would agree - how could any honest person think otherwise. It's no different than reaching into someones pocket any going after their wallet.

Chuck ... usually the first top three results in Google searches and the adds on the right hand side bar are adds. They are adds paid for by that company and depending on what keywords are used, eack time that add is clicked it can COST an honest, hard working buisness owners over $2.00 PER CLICK. Multiply that by a few hundred clicks from some prick who is out to get you. It's no different then the same person cutting all your hoses or slashing your tires to try and put you out of work! It's just wrong or a better word would be PATHETIC!

I did a Roof Cleaning Suffolk County NY search and got this -

Baberoof and

Charlies

are these top listed ads all Adwords advertising?

After these was a Youtube roof cleaning Video.

You can "smell them" after awhile!

IMHO, it is much better to have natural SEO, and get it for free.

All you really want is to be near the top, or simply ON the first page for a search.

Customers will click on more then one website, not just the first one.

This is why you want your "heavy artillery" (BBB, RCIA Certificate, Before and after pics) at the TOP of your page.

Oh it happens Eric! All you have to do is Google "help my adsense account has been click bombed". You will have months and months of reading material of many people that have their accounts wiped out or Google Affiliates who's accounts were banned and destroyed them. Just read this guys plea for help and the thread below it.

SIDE NOTE: Below was copied from a Google Groups forum!!!

we are all getting click bombed one by one and Google is doing nothing to protect us. I had proof (the youtuber who admitted it) I had many people backing me up, I sent google a message a week before it happened and never got a reply. when it did happen, I filled out two forms and followed with two appeal forms. I called Google Office in Montreal, Canada and then called Head Office in California. Since it is hard to speak to a person, I dialed 0 and spoke to someone. they will not budge, they will not help. This is a growing problem on youtube. It happened to me a few weeks back and two of my youtube friends got click bombed right after me. I put a video on youtube explaining what happened. Most people just close their accounts and no one talks about it. But if everyone stays silence, google will do nothing to correct this on going problem. Google states they have to protect adsense...etc..but who the heck is protecting us. Why do they even offer partnership if we are not protected. We all have to speak and let it be heard. Al

Now I see. Thanks. I just wanted to know who of my competitors were paying for Adwords, out of curiosity.

I fully agree, clicking on these ads just to raise the cost for these advertisers is no different than stealing and not my way of doing business. Like most all of us here, I can make my living with a good conscience. I believe in the whole "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" thing 100%

I took a ad word course and they said that google wont let the same IP address keep clicking on your ad.
