Did the luv come from the downspout and hit the roots or where they already dead.
I just settled with a client today over some hedges that got killed. The customer called back a month after we cleaned the roof and complained. The bushes had lost their leaves. The customer was selling their house and did not want to hear that the plants would probably survive because the branches were all green and pliable. I talked to my insurance agent an found that there was a pollution exclusion in my policy. Have you ever understood your policy? This is reason to look closer. The pollution exclusion means problems caused by chemical usage... I asked my agent what the hell is the use of this policy for me. The customer talked to his realtor & a landscaper and then asked me if I would refund my charge. I did so gladly just so I could get on with my making money as we are at a 3 week booking and I sure did need a distraction... I am sure that I was taken for a ride as the foliage loss was inconsistent with my spraying policy. I may have been set up by a competitor that lost the bidding war on that house...
Pictures are a great idea....but these will do you no good. There is no way to prove the time and date these photos were taken. All they do is prove they are dead!
