Have You Done A Google Search For Roof Cleaning Lately ?

Google can tell where you are from your IP Address. So, to keep Google from telling where you are located, go here to www.freeproxyserver.net.

Unless you do this, Google will return search results based on roof cleaning near you!

I searched today using freeproxyserver, and what do you know!

AS expected, this forum was number 2 for roof cleaning.

Roof Cleaning on Wikipedia was, and always will be,  number one.

But, my company website for apple roof cleaning was number 3 roof cleaning

I am firmly established for roof cleaning here in the tampa area, and my website easily dominates the local search results.

But, it is a matter of "pride" to me. 

When I see 2 websites I  control, number 2 and 3 in the world for a National Google Roof Cleaning Search, I "get off on it", if you know what I mean biggrin

I have tried to "share the wealth" with some of you guys who are team players, and Certified.

Those of you who are on my Find a Certified Roof Cleaner Near You Page should jump for joy.

Google is "fussy" these days about awarding backlinks, but if Google decides to award you a backlink from my company website, hang on tight!

You will soon skyrocket to local search engine domination.

As always, I encourage every RCIA Member to post in as many forums as possible, just try to concentrate your posts in the roof cleaning sections of these multi purpose forums like The Grime Scens, PWI, Cleaning Talk, PT State, etc, etc, etc.

If you are not in the roofcleaningcontractors.com directory already, get IN there!

Join the BBB, because it gets you a KILLER backlink.

Be sure to have both a Merchant Circle and a Show Me Local Page (all are free)!

Be sure to have a links page on your website, and offer to link to other roof cleaners, but only IF they link back to you.

Make absolutely SURE you have a Google + Business Page, and if you are lazy, or do not have the time or know how to create  local citations, consider using Localeze or Yext to do it for you!

I have been training roof cleaners for many many years, they fail not because of lack of roof cleaning knowledge. They fail because of lack of work.

If you have any SEO Questions, ask them, now.

There is no "stupid SEO Question", except the one you fail to ask.

If you have not  done so already, I suggest you make a list of the main zip codes you service, and make a post for each of them titles "roof cleaning 33511" or "cleaning roof 33601"

My keyword research indicates that this is how mobile cell phone people are searching.

They will type in "pizza 33647" instead of pizza tampa florida, when looking to find pizza.

In fact, an easy way to cover your bases on old blog posts, is to go back, and edit them to say "Roof Cleaning by A&E services the following zip codes in the lancaster pa area, then add them to the post!

My Google presence has gone down recently [last 6 months or so] My son's business "Dan Bergman" has gone past me. He has a friend who builds websites for a living and is an SEO expert.
I am amazed that an under 3 year old business could pass me by like this! ???

Not 1 of these companies were in business when I started out here in 1989.

I need to show up better on page 1 of Google for "PRESSURE CLEANING"

Heck, a freakin' tree service has me beat right now!

In spite of all our attempts to educate consumers on roof cleaning methods, 90% of my customers still call up and say "I NEED MY ROOF PRESSURE CLEANED"

Chris, www.hidemyass.com is a great web proxy tool.

Even if you clear all your cookies, web browsing history and change your Google settings ... you will allways look like you are ranking above your competitors because Google tracks and saves your search history. Back in the day, you could "turn off" this feature but trust me, it's not an option anymore.

Try it, many will be surprised by the results that are returned. Many people think they are all over page one on Google and when they put in a few or their keywords when they are behind a proxy server, they realize they are on page two at best.

SEO ... it never ends!  bleh
