How do you clean tile butt edges, we have alot of s-barrel   tile and alot of flat tile,   the barrel tile even have that little two inch piece that goes under the butt edge, how do you clean butt edges , without damaging the  facia board and flaching paint, thank you

 Your terminology for tile roof cleaning is different! 

WE spray as we go up the roof against the faces of  the tiles to catch the edges.

Different tiles are different, but often we have to start at the bottom of the roof, and work our way up the roof, as we spray the tile faces.

Chris      Thanks  for the  reply,  no I mean  the very edge the edge you would get from the ground ? I can see the lips of the tiles sprayed from the bottom up ,the very bottom edge . How do you clean the very edge, without the love running all down the facia board and flashing,  discoloring it , I  may  not have the proper words  Thanks again  Love the forum  Steve

 OH ! Easy to do, first, wet down the fascia board, then spray, and have your ground man treat the fasci board as a plant, but ONLY if your mix is strong.

Usually, with a correct mix, it will never hurt the paint, if you wet the fascia board down first !
