Think about it Chuck ? The only "Chlorine Neutralizers" we ever needed was Tarps and Water ?

Spraying fertilizer on plants, in anticipation of the roof cleaning chemicals scares me, and IMHO, is not the best idea. There will be a reaction when the chlorine in the roof cleaning chemical hits the plants coated with this crap, and I am concerned it can have bad effects on the plants. Plus, it will NOT neutralize the salt in the Chlorine! For that, you need plenty of water.

So, since you will have to water anyway, why even risk using this chit ?

I'm sure I have my 10,000 by now.
Ya, like you, I really have to try any possible things that could improve the cleaning system.
I invented gutter canes, "TO MY KNOWLEDGE" Sure, maybe guys had been using them for years before me, but I didn't learn that from anyone-I thought it up.
So far, nothing has proven to accomplish a thing toward neutralizing SH. If a customer a week later etc, calls and says their leaves are turning yellow or falling off, I do go back and spray them with a Miracle Grow hose connector with 8-8-8 in it, but more importantly, I flood the root areas again. This has always solved the problem to my knowledge= no call backs- other than the few that have died.
I already have some 10-10-10, so I will do a quick test in my back yard. I am curious about the reaction and to see if it improves mix on grass in one patch, with another patch, that I just water or makes it worse?
I only plan to do a 1 foot spot and not chance a breath of any fumes. If anything worth mentioning happens, I'll post it. I may get to try it today? Now, I know I got no ill reaction to Gypsum Pellets-no reaction- but I don't feel I have proof they helped either?

We use AC's gutter canes to dilute SH in the gutters before they come down the downspouts.  Where there are no gutters we use 4' x 8' coroplast signs that the politicians leave up after elections.  Lastly my ground man uses a 13 hp pressure washer with an 8.5 gpm pump to water all foliage, grass, fences, etc in the roof cleaning area.
