I saw some great responses on another thread that I posted some newbie SEO stuff and thought I'd post some more "stuff" for the intermediate SEO guys. Also, I don't need anyone to hammer me to pay up or re-join because at this point and time, I'm cool with my new "guest" title.
This is for the guys who are in competive markets and need the edge to compete or beat the other guys.
Tier 1 ... Backlinks to your site Tier 2 ... Backlinks to Tier 1 Backlinks Tier 3 ... Backlinks to Tier 2 Backlinks and so on...but you can stop here if you want.
For Tier 1 you need quality, unique content. Build a nice web 2.0 blog or two, with images and lots of content
Then Tier 2, for indexing tier 1 and so on, you should use like social bookmarks / wiki backlinks. Don't think that Tier 2 can be spammy content because it can't. It needs to be good quality content also!
There is a lot more to SEO than just building backlinks like I have been saying forever. You have to have proper keywords, with natural ones too, with the URL etc. You need to make it look as natural as possible. Your on-site SEO is VERY IMPORTANT, most under estimate the power of on-site SEO.
Dam you Hank...I took your advice with the 5 hour energy drink and look what happened!!!!
