Roof Cleaning Warranties - What Do You Give ?

Straight 2 years, but thinking about putting a 5 year together.

2 year. And if a homeowner gets a quote and shows it to me that has a so called 5 year warranty, I will have no problem explaining what it is they are getting, and offer them the same if that is what they want.

Doug, Isn't it mandatory in your state to give 2 year. Here in NY we have to give a 2 year on labor if your licensed

We give in writing a "5 year" for a full cleaning only and it a limited warranty for years 3-5 @ 10%, 30%, and 50% of cost. We use it to mostly as a reason not to go with Brand X or go with a partial.

Never sold a 5 year. We offer a 2-3 year warranty.

Be carefull with those 5 years. A couple more years from now you may be doing some free work!

Our is a very unique warranty. It is called a "taillight warranty". Once you see our taillights leave the driveway, there goes your warranty

Seriously, we offer an unconditional 1 year warranty on all roofs, shingle or tile.

No pro rated BS, if it gets dirty in a year or under, we reclean the roof, for free.

Then, if the customer says "Low Ball Luke gives a 5 year warranty" we ask them how long their roof stayed clean, last time it was cleaned, or was replaced.

Most will say from 2 to 4 years, so we tell them it stands to reason our roof cleaning will last just as long, or more.

But the reason we only offer a one year warranty is some customers are under trees, or on a lake, or in an area with filthy roofs, etc, etc.

We only offer a 2 year warranty because many homes in our area are nestled in the woods with very large mature oak, pine and hemlocks trees providing entirely too much shade. In addition our warranty only applies for full cleaning.

3 YEAR WARRANTEY EVEN IF IT DID COME BACK 90% WOULD NOT CALL BACK AFTER 2 YEARS....

LOL Chris ... Your ''tailight warranty'' sounds similar to a ''waiver guarantee'' ... When the customer can no longer see you waving goodbye in the rear view mirror as you leave his job, the guarantee is over. confuse confuse confuse
