Was it an out of town contractor that was awarded the bid? I didn't think there was anyone else in Tally with the man power or reclamation equipment to complete this in 30 days. I sense that this company will walk off the job half way thru the projuect once they realize how much money they are starting to lose.

Some guy out of TN who uses "volunteer" labor from church groups.

Ray, it wasn't teen challenge, but from what I gather he gives money to church groups to augment his labor force. Blows my mind that anyone would take on that much liability to make so little $$$.

Speaking of Teen Challenge, I've come up against them a couple of times too. What a scam. For those of you unfamiliar with teen challenge let me give you a brief primer. It's a faith-based alcohol and drug recovery/diversion program. Basically men can go into that program or Go to jail. Sadly their state headquarters are based here in Tallahassee. They used to do only carwashes which was no threat to the pressure washing industry. However I guess the owners of the program have decided there some profit to be made there as well. Funny, I could be a hell of a lot more profitable too if I didn't have labor cost to pay.

So this jack wagon is getting money from the state to feed and house these guys and taking money from homeowners From their free/reduced cost labor. Basically if you're a homeowner it boils down to this… By hiring them You are inviting a swarm of Addicts to your house Who have no formal training with a pressure washer.
