Gary let me first say that I appreciate all you've done for this forum. That being said I get really tired of you coming in and bullying people. Like it or not we are your customers! If the members here have concerns, dammit they need to be addressed. And not addressed by you trying to act like we're a bunch of idiots.

This has been going on since last Friday. We've been given a couple of different excuses and a few of those have been debunked as impossible by experts.

Stop talking down to us and start talking to us or I will go away!!!!

Call me nieve but, I just can't see the benifit of fielding phone calls countrywide for roof cleaning just to benifit other members here by posting leads. Phone calls just in my area take a good bit of my time so, I can just imagine how fielding calls from 50 states could be overwhelming and still have time to clean thousands of roofs. Now advertising in all the states trying to sell franchises, that would make sense to me. I have been told by a member, whose name I will not give, was approached and offered a franchise in his area. That said, there is nothing wrong with trying to sell franchises, some people lack the time and or knowledge to start up a business so franchising is a good fit for them. But for someone who is administrating a roof cleaning site to be trying to sell there wares and has the benefit of duplicating content to use on their site, THAT is what I have a problem with.

I don't get where you think I am bullying people or trying to make them look stupid.  All I'm trying to do/ask is that everybody chill out until some REAL facts are presented., I've been asking that since last week to NO avail. There are some on here that are hell bent on aggitating and stirring up trouble, true facts or not.  Anything the Uglies are doing is receiving NO compensation from RCIA, so anybody that thinks your dues are being used for that is gravely mistaken.

I'm out of this thread because it is going no where except down the commode, and no body, especially me needs that right now.

Where do I get it from? I get it from your actions and statements. You made a nasty comment to Micheal DeRose on an earlier thread about "Reading comprehension", you banned Bill Booz for simply defending himself in an argument, and I'm sure I can go through the archives and pull out a few more examples. When someone doesn't agree with you, you tend to bully them.

As far as the dues are concerned...please follow my logic...1) my dues keeps the lights on here. I am a customer of RCIA. 2) The entity that the RCIA partners with to market ME, the RCIA, and other MEMBERS here is directly competing against us. 4) Therefor MY $$$$$ are being used to compete against me.

I sit back and read much of this stuff, and often think many of you are making the Uglies more powerful then they are.  

Sure, they want to sell franchises one day, so what ? Come up with 5 grand, and AC will hand deliver a well trained competitor to a town near you.

Hell, everywhere I go in Tampa, I am faced with my own roof cleaning technology that I developed, used against me! 

The Cat is out of the Bag, and competition is  a way of life in the roof cleaning business. Get used to it.

The Uglies have done quite a lot for the RCIA, for free! As a sort of reward, I allowed them a directory.

They are just 2 guys way up in Michigan. I know for a fact they have shared several leads from that directory with people. 

I see zero evidence where they are "hurting" any RCIA Member. But, as far as that goes, every cleaning forum is a "threat" to every RCIA Member as well. 

I can not tell any of you what to do, you are all grown Men. But if it were me, I would try and stay on the good side of the Uglies. Who knows, you might get some work out of it ?

I do not think they will ever be successful at selling roof cleaning franchises. No one has ever done it,  and been successful for any length of time before.

When we can buy Fat Boy Pumps for 200.00, why pay 5 grand or more for a franchise ?

Perhaps the Uglies want a directory that places in local searches, so they can sell roof cleaning leads ?

Whatever ? Like Ted Says, it is smart of them to do what they have done. 

But, that is their business, not RCIA Business.

ANY of you guys are welcome to copy what the Uglies have done, and I will also help any RCIA Member get a directory off the ground with a link from this forum, and any other pages/forums I control.
