I am just flabergasted as to how the media is making this guy to be a role model to our children.
Murder trial
Following a Super Bowl XXXIV party in Atlanta on January 31, 2000, a fight broke out between Lewis and his companions and another group of people, resulting in the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. Lewis and two companions, Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting, were questioned by Atlanta police, and 11 days later the three men were indicted on murder and aggravated-assault charges. The white suit Lewis was wearing the night of the killings has never been found. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard alleged the blood-stained suit was dumped in a garbage bin outside a fast food restaurant.
Lewis' attorneys, Don Samuel and Ed Garland, of the Atlanta law firm Garland, Samuel & Loeb, negotiated a plea agreement with Howard for his guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice. Lewis admitted he gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings. Superior Court Judge Alice D. Bonner sentenced Lewis to 12 months' probation, the maximum sentence for a first-time offender, and he was fined $250,000 by the NFL, which was believed to be the highest fine levied against an NFL player for an infraction not involving substance abuse. Under the terms of the sentence, Lewis could not use drugs or alcohol during the duration of the probation.
On April 29, 2004, Lewis reached a settlement with four-year-old India Lollar, born months after the death of her father Richard, pre-empting a scheduled civil proceeding. Lewis also reached an undisclosed settlement with Baker's family.

Thanks for sharing this. I have forgot all about it. It astounds me what control the media has in the way kids think people, who is good, who is not. Trying to explain to kids what is important in a person and what is not gets tough when a kid is allowed to watch some of the junk on t.v.
San Fran all the way. I would like to see a rookie win a super bowl. On the other hand it would be nice to have a south Jersey native win the super bowl. Joey flacco. His home town is 25 minutes from mine.
I can't stand all the babbling from raw lewis. He is an attention hogger and he is the biggest hypocrisy in the sport right now. I really have no dog in this fight I just want a good high scoring game.
America is the land of second chance. I hope the ravens win the super bowl.
Wrong. It is now known as "Land of Entitlement Programs".
"Screw You Middle Class America" was runner up but missed by a few votes.
that and "land were the media controls what you should be thinking"
"land were media is in cahoots with the politicians"
"land were the media only let you see what they want you to see"
fast and furious? nope not news, legal gun carriers STOPPING crime, nope thats not news either... Bengazi? naaaa lets talk about what kind of earings beoncye wore at the inageration... yep that counts as news... the american people are fucking sheep.... and the media keeps them believing that there is actually a difference between democrat and republican....

I was going to go with the team having the Italian QB (I am 1/2 Italian) but guess what ?
BOTH teams have Italians at QB! Kaepernick was adopted, his real last name is Russo!
I have no Dog in the game, but I am picking Ravens.
Niner's but I like Flacco and getting rid of Cameron and the end of the year took stones. Flacco is kind of like roof cleaning, better than expected results.

LOL I love the roof cleaning comment. I'm glad someone cleared up the Kaepernick thing. I thought he looked egpytian, and I have no idea what is the nationality "kaepernick"
I think the best part of these two teams going head to head is that the coaches are brothers (the Harbaughs). What are the odds of that ever happening again.
