Yes we got snow here in NH.

Pat dont wait to long to order what you need, I'm still waiting on stuff I ordered a month ago.. I have 2 large projects for spring and I want my new build done ahead of time. I always wait until the last minute, but not this time. I have been wanting to do this build since last year and never had the time. I have the next few months to get it done and do it right.

My guess is unless you're using both, the 12v will quickly be forgotten ... and I replaced my inlet hose/drop stick on the bandit per Bob's suggestion. worked like a charm!!

Your equipment looks great. Did you order everything through PWP? How have they been?

Never forget the 12v. Drop and spray even an employee can do it.  I told you it was air on your intake!

Why are you going to run both?

My bad pal. I lose track of who I talk with but yeah, pump came back to life, working good as new.

I'm planning to get a box truck this season, which seems like the theme, and will run an air system but I'll still have the bandit setup in the pickup. I would've been able to keep 2 crews busy 5 days a week for 6 months this season so it's a priority to say the least.

Mike.. glad to here you fixed your bandit. Bob is awesome and knows 12 volt pumps inside and out. And as far as PWP, I wont be dealing with them in the future. I have spent the last month finding local destributors and will go with them.

Dan I will be using both 12 volt and All-flow for a few reasons. I love my bandit and it rocks, but it has its limitations . Dont get me wrong I will still use it. With my new build you will see that I have no intention to forget my 12 volt.

that's a shame cause they have such nice equipment. they really are horrific with customer service and their website is a joke. i was only planning to get that base plate for the titan reel and filter, everything else (all flo, ball valve applicators, etc.) i'll just get elsewhere when the time comes.

Build is going a little slower than I thought. Sanding, priming, painting the ladder rack took the longest.

Brian,

Nice job. You're well on your way. Earlier this year we used a van(rental) for several weeks but the fumes got the best of us. Had to get rid of it and use the pick up instead. The plan(sealing of driver's compartment and roof vent) you have will be ok. The van wasn't that bad except for the fumes and height restrictions. I'm going to be following your pictorial.

Hank

Cargo van wasn't my 1st choice, and the fumes were a concern of mine. The cab is totally sealed off from the back of the van,but i will be doing other ventilation. One will be a 12 volt fan and the other is a vent that is used in landscape trailers and will work while the van is moving. I would have liked a box truck or a cab-forward, but the price was right for this van. I will get a vehicle that keeps my equipment out of the weather and gives me the billboard advertising. I will be glad to be out of my trailer, it was to big and to heavy.

Sounds like you have the best of both worlds. If the van is half as good looking as that big Ford pick up you have some of us will be jealous. Myself included.

Hank

Eric,

I have the same truck as you.  This summer I was carrying 100 gals of SH  plus 70 gals of mix with no fume problem.  I have a vent directly over the SH tank and I always left it open.  Sometimes truck didn't move for a week all closed up.
