I have 12 volt fan on order I also bought vents from trailer place that uses them to ventilate landscape trailers while there driving. Lawn mowers in an enclosed trailer can get real smelly..

Very helpful Eric ... Do you have a skid unit pressure washer? I'm definitely getting a box truck, and was thinking about just using my portable pressure washer, and getting an air setup like the one from PWP. They're not my first choice of companies to work with, but as Joe from Bucks County said, I can deal with a few hurdles during the winter. and they do have a bad ass air setup.

I really wish Bob got a setup like that, with the banjo valves, all flo, etc.

Is there a recommended truck that everybody likes? I know a few of you went with the uhaul trucks .There's MORE THAN ENOUGH topics on that question but I'd love to hear how things have gone 1-2 years after the purchase.

Anyway, great thread, really looking forward to seeing how things turn out. I have a bandit & am looking to do something similar to Brian.

I think it is better to winterize than run a heater for 3 months 24/7, as daytime temps can be below freezing too. I buy a 55 gal drum of windshield washer fluid to run in my 5850's, all flo pump and my hoses. For my pressure washers, I use antifreeze fluid.

Some guys bring there open trailers inside at night.

Where its warm.

Then drive to a job, in the winter. I think that pushing it, but it's being done.

The cold wind can freeze stuff on open trailers, I think.

I dont know if this company winterizes ever night.

There rigs are out every day! Winter too.

Something else I heard, for concrete in the winter, cranked all the way up!!!

90% of the water evaporates! Moving water doesnt freeze.

I learned keep yourself dry.

I have a Hydro Tec hot water, 5 gal per minute and Kirchner 5 gal per min.  I love my Uhaul box truck.  They sit lower to the ground than other box trucks and have a ramp too.

Be sure to research any Uhaul you are considering buying.  They are well kept up with maintance.  The one I purchased, had a new crate motor installed at 186,000 for $3600.  They were asking $5900!

PWP is a great place to get your All Flo and ball valves.  I have never had a problem with them.  I just bought hose reels and another stacking kit and they gave me a discount because I refered someone to them.

The 3rd and 4th reels are for my garden hoses and pressure washing hoses.  I have about 500 feet of 3/4" garden hose and it sucks rolling it up each job.

@ Brian- Thats a great idea, a hose in each hand! Will have to try that next year. LOL

For Gutterdogs, it's not happening this winter, not stealing thread, Really interested in this Van build!

A van is enclosed, and cheaper than a box truck.

Even if I could put what I got now, on my trailer. In a van!!!

Gutterdogs is ahead of the game next winter!!!

Could still 5 gallon on side! Door right there, lol!!!

Ladders were a concern. I was gonna trade the f150 for a van.

Ladders easier on top a van than a box truck.

Verry interested in this thread!!!!

We used the 40 yesterday on a dryer vent, and the last condo of 3, cleaning gutters. Couple days ago.

Now the 40 aint all that! I tell my tech! It's not the 50, and that helps me too, lol!!!

The ladders have to go on top. Room for the 50, when needed, lol!

A van is best?
