I am very pleased that Gary is going to stay on with Us! 

I had a chance to call Gary, and we had a heart to heart talk. I planned to allow Gary to cool off a little, before I called him.

Guys, NO ONE loves the RCIA more than Gary Weir. This Man has worked his ass off for us, basically for free.

I made a lot of decisions here recently, and upon talking with Gary, he had some misunderstanding about my Intentions.

I could see Gary was very upset, and so  i decided to let him cool off a little, so I could explain some stuff to him.

Gary is a LOT like me. When I get mad, it is best to leave me alone, until I cool off. 

Now that Gary and I are on the same page, I asked him to come back, and he has accepted!

I hate to plead ignorance, on a Forum I own, but I do not micro manage  this Place. My business philosophy is to have good people around me, and for them to be able to do their jobs, w/o me constantly looking over their shoulder!

Plus, I HATE Industry Politics. I am a teacher, not a politician. 

Back in the old days of the Forum (under Bill and AC), there was a "push" for the RCIA to become a "non profit ORG". 

MUCH went on I was unaware of, and it is best to not rehash the Drama. 

Now that I have heard the tapes, and read some stuff I was previously unaware of, I totally understand why Gary did what he did.

I do not want to rehash it, like I said, but now I totally understand why Gary was so upset with some of the decisions I recently made!

Gary felt BETRAYED by me, and with good apparent Reason! 

Regardless, the storm is now over, and Gary is back. IMHO, that is the only thing that is important. Let the past Drama STAY past Drama. 

RCIA is going to move FOREWARD now, and not look back!

I'm pleased to see some good news.

Being a leader in business or otherwise doesn't mean you make 'popular decisions'.   Otherwise the monekys would run the zoo.  A leader does what's best for their  business, the organization, family etc.  And at times some folks won't like it.  That's just the way it is.

Gary is a leader and I for one am very glad to see he'll stick around.  I think I may do the same.

 After the past several days, I had NO intention of coming back. As a personal favor to Chris, and some others on here, I re-considered and here I am. Thanks to all that showed concern that I was leaving.

The above post is very similiar to what started all the BS that caused me to leave. Why is it that everytime a post gets deleted, or anything else, I get blamed? For your info those posts by a "fellow hater" were deleted by Chris. He told me so. Got a problem with that?   Didn't think so!!

I have and always will give my best for this place. Being gone for several days was I guess, like a alcoholic or drug user trying to give it up. Anybody relate to that? So much of my time was devoted to this forum that I was goiing crazy not being on here.

But now I'm back and if certain people can refrain from making worthless comments here and other places, maybe the RCIA can return to being a place of peace and brotherhood.
