Please, do not laugh, it looks very puny right now. This is HOW all forum software looks, before it is all set up.
Now, Steve and Bob from Ugly Shingles must create the forums and sub forums, activate the many many options I purchased for you guys like the built in blog, the private picture gallerys, and the facebook log in, just to name a few.
This is YOUR new forum guys, so any suggestions are welcome as to what sub forums we will have, the names of them, and their descriptions.
For example Cleaning Shingle Roofs Forum
All about the non pressure cleaning of shingle roofs
Steve and Bob will be watching this thread, to make sure we give you guys what you want!

Chris - since you specifically asked for my thoughts, here are a few for starters:
"Stepping on" promotional posts (promo posts submitted by those that are authorized) is to be absolutely forbidden. ((Suggested rule do to recent actions)) The same for hijacking promo posts. (C'mon guys, get some class will ya? You know who you are.)
Let's have a gear/product/solution review section on the new forum. I have some information that some may find useful, yet it can wait for the new forum.
Let's have a safety section. I know it sounds corny, yet if it prevents one injury or mishap, then it's far worth the time and effort.

You have some great ideas Ted, and yes, messing with another members promotional posts is FORBIDDEN!
In fact, I highly suggest local people do NOT post in each others Promo Posts, to avoid head butting!
When is this thing going to open so we can get started on our posting for 2013?
I turned it over to Steve and Bob of Ugly Shingles. But it is one extremely complicated technical endeavor. I have not talked with Steve, to see if he is going to be able to figure it out. If not, Barry has offered to attempt it.
When new forum is ready I have lots and lots of pictures and I ready to post. But somone will have to make sure I have my training wheels on because Im bound to make some mistakes
