So you think quitting and leaving is the answer? Nothing ever got accomplished that way before. There is NO definate answer that Dave even wants to come back, but everybody wants to get all flustered and quit. Hell of a way to run a railroad. You know how I feel from my PM's that you can publish if you desire.

I would be interested to hear suggestions on how I/we/RCIA is suppossed to keep people here that don't want to stay. Nothing was said to either of those people, they just wanted to over react without trying to see what WAS REALLY going to happen, and let their emotions overrule good judgement. I hate to see them go also, but I will not loose sleep over it, because there is nothing I can do. They are pissed at Chris and should have voiced their opinions to him before going off the deep end.

 Setting the AC Thing aside for the time being, Bill Booze was never banned from here. He was told he is always welcome here at the RCIA. As far as Art Oliveri goes, I am going to say I MISS Art Oliveri. Gary and him got into it. I would LOVE to see Gary and him make peace. 

As far as AC Goes, I BROUGHT AC Lockyer, my long time friend (and competitor) TO this industry. The membership rose up against him, if you remember. I was faced with a no win choice. Satisfy my customers here, and part ways with AC, or risk losing most of my members. 

Not only did I lose AC as a member, but it also cost me my friendship with my long time friend. All to make some members here happy.

I am not good at Politics. I only wanted the best Roof Cleaning Forum in the world for all. The 100 dollar membership fees aint shit to me.

My roof cleaning business makes far more in a good month or 2, then what I make from this place. By the time I pay the forum costs ( 1 to 2 hundred dollars a month), there is not a fortune I am making here. 

I can dream, and my dream is this, one big HEALING for everyone, and the RCIA.

 

Well my focus is to make a wothwhile class next week. Can you imagine the difficulty.
I have the smallest trailer.
For some reason Fullblast want me to to talk.

I really hope that my class, learns atleast 1 thing.

I'm putting it all out there! My mom said not to do this.

I'm gonna talk about making friends with the customer.
Gutter guard which is a nice days pay!
I hope I do good.

I am no leader in anything.

But I'll share what I know.

I want everyone to know that Dave Westerman got a raw deal from me, and I want to apologize for it. At the time, with the "facts" presented to me at that time, it seemed like I was making the right decision. However, I have since learned those "facts" were incorrect.

Dave Westerman helped BUILD the RCIA, he literally gave his life to this place, before I kicked him to the curb like a stepchild. 

Dave is a life long veteran roof cleaner, who became so soured on all things roof cleaning because of what I did, he sold all his equipment, and abandoned the field he helped pioneer. Like myself, his lungs and health are not good, because of the inhalation of too much roof cleaning mix, over the years.

I have asked Dave to accept my sincerest apologies. I have also asked him to return to the RCIA as director of certifications and/or director of training. I don't know that he will or not, but he did promise to rejoin the forum. He will be given a free, lifetime membership to all sections of this, and the new forum. That is the least I can do for the Man who is responsible for nearly 25 percent of the Total content of this place.

If he does choose to return to the RCIA as Certification or Training Director, he will be financially compensated for his work.

Jeff no need to put "IMHO" I think you are coming across loud and clear. and it's a shame. But as you have stated you have come and gone here and maybe that's all you will do here. But I was lucky enough to have formed a "small" Business/friendship relationship" with Ed and Mike. I have spoken to them many times about some problems I was having and if they were unable to get to the phone they called me right back....one time at eleven at night and Mike Delrose called me one morning at 8:30 to keep my head up. I don't think Ed or mike are the type of guys to take their ball and leave, I think they are the type of guys that would try to make you eat the ball before they left. You missed alot as you have said, maybe this was the last straw for them. As far as redundant you are right, but they added more then just the same old stuff. They added Humor,marketing skills,video ideas,tweets blog ideas and etc. But the best thing they added to this place was a "call anytime "! And that was the type of place Chris Tucker was trying to establish. So Jeff IMHO these guys are a loss to those that they helped on here and off here. Can we count on you Jeff to try to fill those shoes?
