 Thanks to all you guys for bringing it to my attention! My personal site is so highly ranked, I never noticed a drop off in backlinks! 

LOL, I have so many backlinks, I never check anymore. 

 

I know you have mentioned certain blogs in the past, do you have any other sites that you stratgeticly place your backlinks?

noI think my thread has been highjacked.

Guys where can I download the RCIA logo?  Also can someone be a member of the RCIA and Soft Wash Systems and display both logos on their website etc?

I think you have to buy a skid to carry the softwash branding. Not 100% sure.

I always wonder why RCIA never shows up as a backlink when I check my site using backlink checkers like www.alexa.com. I get links from every other forum except this one. Maybe some more tech savvy members can help me out with this because it seems pointless to create promos here.

Ed, Google does not index links that are behind password protected forums like the prive side of this forum. Unless the forum admin. inputs the password to let google scour the private side, they do not get indexed. I talked with Chris about this before and if I remember correctly, he said that this forum service does not have that capability.

The public side where we post promos should be good so long as it's on the proper setting. Looks like Chris dealt with this issue before but this Vancouver based company took it back to its default setting (off) for whatever reason.

If I understoof Chris corrently, once the issue is resolved Google will index our previous promo posts and increase our ranking.

Yes Mike, but ranking has more to do with content and backlinks these days. You CAN with Wordpress IMPORT your whole blogspot blog, did u know that! In an absolute sense, Wordpress is better.

 As far as FREE Blogs go, I think Wordpress has more business friendly themes.  Blogspot seems more aimed at personal blogging.

But you WILL looose rank, UNLESS your blogspot blog has a URL you can move to wordpress.
