Back-up pumps in a hurry?????

Gee ray thats interesting about west marine. How much is thier pump and it holds up to SH? I have to say Bob from pressure tek is the go to guy in emergencys you will get what you need in a day or two. On my trailer I have three pumps two 5880s and a fatboy, the fatboy is hardly ever used and the extra 5880 is a backup if the first goes down. At my home I have another fatboy and 5880....when I take one of those Bob gets a call for replacement. When a pump goes on the job site I like being able just to swap it out and get going again in minutes.

Northern Tool carries them as well as Grainger, if you have one in your area. We also pick up at Depco Pumps which is local here in Clearwater. They carry just about every 12 volt pump except Delevans. They have Sureflows, Flowjets etc... We only use the 12 volt pumps for transferring Chems so we rarely need a new one. One pump normally lasts us about two years.

Charlie, my West Marine carries the Delevan pumps and Sureflow.

I don't know if they have regional stocking differences. A lot of mobile food trucks, boats and RVs use these kind of demand pumps for water supply, so if you can find a store that services those vendors, you can usually find those pumps.

I'm thinking this list is more for an emergency, gotta have it now scenario for guys on a job and stuck.
