Wow the ladder slide, I need to start training my employees to do that. They are taking way to long climbing down.

I'm getting a nose bleed with that 50' ladder. My 40's are the largest we use and only if absolutely positively necessary.

We are shutting down the week before thanksgiving.. then i have a few Christmas tree lots to set up and run. That is my year ender.. a month of pushing a few hundred trees and then its shut down time till march.. Ill be in florida for the month of January probably, and then back up here to go snowboarding the rest of the time lol.

Suggestion for you guys... I dont know about you, but i have all of our estimates on quickbooks with emails.. last week i sent EVERY open estimate from the entire year to the customers again, and included a year end discount of anywhere from $50 to $150 depending on job size.... I already had a few people call back and jump on it... figure this is a great way to have that last 2 week push too the end...

All in all, we had a great year and cant wait for march!

So happy I live in Florida.....year round work, level ground, and no need for 50 foot ladders.

Oh...and home of the 99 dollar house wash from all the lowballers hacks who love this weather too!

We rent a 40 when needed, 2-3 times a yr, then have a 40. We like fiberglass for safety and stability.

That 50 is getting picked up by JKF air-traffic control.

We agree on the 3-4 dollars a foot for gutter cleaning on the monsters. That is what the work is worth. We start at about 129.00 for gutters clean outs on small houses.

Mike, you are crazy with that 50' ladder! I get anxious when I have to break out the 40' ladder, pain in the ass. Especially when the ground isn't level, it's hard to stabilize the damn thing.

Since August we've been doing gutter cleaning only as an add-on service. When we explain this to customers they understand. Half of them will actually get the house washed on order to get the gutters cleaned. We lost a lot of gutter cleaning jobs, but we made the same (or more) money for running around half as much.

This is basically how I run my window cleaning. I don't go out for $90-$150 jobs. But I will upsell on top of a $400 house wash. Now this sunday I'm doing my "pristine marketing" I will let everyone know how it goes.

I wrapped up the trailer a couple weeks ago, I hate messing with the cold and my pump.
I am breaking it out to do a house wash for a customer only because their is a bunch of other work going along with it.

Mike you are nuts. You know I like you but that is stupid. You could potentially lose everything if one of those guys got seriously hurt. Even if it was his idea he would come after you in a second. Food for thought.

I agree!!!! Mike love like a brother, you should delete the vids and don't let them do that again.
