Pat its devestating. My poor mom worked all her life for that little slice of heaven. I got updated photos, the house is there but knocked off its foundation. The home accross the street is 100% gone. I highly doubt they will rebuild the island. The whole infrastructure is mangled.

yea ed it is bad ive been down in margate clearing sand. I was there 2 days after... Pepole were deveistated.... I got a few generators if you need to use them ...............

That video reminds me of when huricane Ike struck Houston Texas a couple of years ago.  All Beach front property was devistated.
