Almost TOO Busy

Sounds like your doing a great job roof cleaning and keeping the customers happy in Valrico, Florida. I would be go crazy, if I had to deal with not having gutters.

Gutters are not as common here in Florida, as they are up north. Most roofs we clean in Valrico have a gutter between the pool and the house called a Super Gutter. But often, that is all the gutter many homes have. One street in a Valrico subdivision named Twin Lakes on Sylvan Oaks Drive has near 10/12 pitch roofs, with no gutters, and tons of expensive landscaping. Lots of tropical vines too. Vines will drop all their leaves and die, if not properly cared for, during the cleaning of the roof.

This house is not in Valrico Florida, it is over in Tampa. It was referred to us by an old friend of ours at a pressure washing company, who does not do roofs. An attorney called us, who is caring for this home of his elderly friend, who is not in good health.

The roof needs cleaned for sure, and it is said to have trees growing out of the gutters, and is all green with mildew. It is 6000.00 sq feet, and a 2 story, with a shingle roof. He asked for a bid. I told the attorney it will be from 650.00 to 1250.00, depending on all we have to clean, and the difficulty we have actually cleaning it. THIS is how we like to work. I give a ball park price, and only charge for what we do. We never take advantage of a customer, by charging them the maximum, unless it is warranted.

The attorney (who lives here in Valrico) said ok, and so we have the job. I have written 2 other roof cleaning jobs today, and ALL of them were from referrals! Damn, I sort of hate that! I work so very hard at SEO, so customers can find my website, only to find out that my reputation for doing good work, at fair prices, trumps all that sometimes.

I have been in the roof cleaning business nearly 20 years guys. One day, you too will see what I mean when people call you, out of the blue, wanting your services.

I think I am as good a roof cleaning salesman as there is, but very seldom anymore do I get the chance to show my stuff. Every caller today was pre sold, because all of them were sent to us by fellow cleaning professionals, or past customers.

LOL, I think I will "reward myself" and go to the Valrico AppleBees with my buddy. They have the 2 for 20.00 specials, and I am hungry!

Not really, we are by far the number one roof cleaning company in Valrico Florida

When you have been cleaning roofs in the Valrico area for nearly 25 years like we have, you get plenty of repeat business.

Good for you Chris! I know exactly what you mean! Most calls I get are either repeat customers from as far back as 1989 when I started in business here in Charlotte and Sarasota counties - or, someone recommended by one of them. I have tried to maintain decent SEO, but all I know is what I learned from RCIA years ago. I should probably do more update research on the new site [ .org ] and see if my old SEO needs a jump start? I do get lots of new bid calls weekly though, so maybe my SEO is OK? I like the repeat and recommendations the best, because they are almost pre-sold! Also, often, through the years, when I did a roof, neighbors on that street or nearby, stop and have us price their roof too. So, when I go back 4 years later and do the original roof again, I often offer all 3 or whatever, a better price to do them all the same day. have a nice day my friend!
