Trex decking requires yearly cleaning to maintain it's great look. Depending on the area the deck is in, sun shade, under trees, it may need to be cleaned twice a year. This hsould be done in the spring and fall when the weather is cooler. Keeping the trex decking clean will stop the build up of dirt and pollen that mold colonies feed on. If left on the deck, mold and lichen colonies will begin to show up, and start feeding on the deck. Once these invasive species take hold it may take a few washes to remove them. It is recommended to soft wash trex decking. A pressure washer should not be used. Kleen llc  616-914-9064
