Isopropyl seems to boost the power for us, or just mix it a bit hotter.

Do not use rubbing achohol to boost your mix. It will decrease the potency and will give off dangerous fumes.

Just take your time.. We did a roof last week in 40 degree weather, made the mix a little stronger and took our time to wash the house a bit and then go back for touchups, etc..

thats what we did today.. we actually left this customers house.. went and did a house and deck prep.. then came back to the original customer for touch ups.. i explained to her what we were doing before we left and she completely understood.... i just get annoyed that we used to be able to do 3-4 roofs a day.. and now because of time i need to schedule 2 I want to make a big push to the end of the season

We are moving up to 40% and pre-treating when possible, the light color 3 tabs will not give up the bad stains in milder weather, even less in the high 40's, we are going to clean when we can, I would say that anything north of 40, with any sun at all, we will take it on and still pricing in a follow up pass, funny thing is that the phones died 2 weeks ago and today we booked 6500 in 4 hours, half the work was bid 4 months ago.

Trying to figure buyers out will make you drink SH, not spray it. The only thing tougher was watching that debate last night with that left wing heifer as a moderator.

For the winter, we set up a booth at a huge indoor flea market that has 300 vendors, 8 restaurants and gets 26,000 people on a good weekend, rent is 72.00 a weekend. Who knows what will work.

I'm trying to find out a way to sell more in the winter here in the mid-west, I don't live in FARGO! Winter prices will be in effect and they won't be lower because the low baller's are winterized, sitting home on their couches watching TV's.

Ed - we too have knocked the frost off of more than one roof.  We keep waiting for the Fall slow down - hasn't happened yet.  And we're back in MD this weekend - my favorite!

JC, when you called, I had been up (to get my guys off to their jobs), then I went back to sleep! The neighbors Dogs kept me up all night, barking at whatever ?

Here is what I suggest. Get some Butyl or ISO Butyl Alcohol, These are a different kind of Chlorin stable alcohols called Tertiary Alcohols.

Several US Patents describe improved cleaning compositions with sodium hypochlorite that has had various Tertiary Alcohols added to it!

Do a Google Search for Sodium Hypochlorite Cleaner with Tertiary Alcohol, you will see what I mean.

There are enough different patents using variations on this combination, so it must work.

Adding ISO works for me. Been on jobs. Thought I had enough. Had to cut back on it.

It really helps.

Yes, I'm a morning person,..but this time of year requires patience. If you allow the day to come to you, this really is good roof cleaning weather, nice dry air in the Fall and the mix really works, at least from my experiences, Fall is one of the nicer times to clean a roof. But you have to wait for the day to come to you, and just not expect to get so many done in a day.
