Any of you guys that do metal roofs ever apply ( and have luck with ) some type of wax that helps to keep dirt from attaching to the roof so quickly again ?

I am quoting a metal roof at a farm, and they wanted to know if there was something like a car wax that could be applied that would hep to keep the dirt from attaching again right away.

Some use a product similiar to what automatic carwashes use. Check with your local car wash and see where he gets it.

When doing a metal roof, it is a good idea to use a corrosion inhibitor like Sodium Metasilicate in your mix.

Some automotive shop carry liquid wax, you may need a pump sprayer to apply in on. It will give the roof a wet look.

Powerwash.com sells a wax that is used to keep concrete from sticking to the truck. 5 gallons is $59. That is what I will use unless some one gives me a better option.
