Like you said "cheesy" advertising, but saleable, if customers don't see the dumb ad!
I have sold wire mesh covers for these and wire mesh inserts for dryer vents for many years to my customers. Can't say many have opted in for it though.
I make them myself for about 50 cents or less each. I have them on my roof vents and dryer vent [also on roof] Anything is worth a shot. What sells in one area, doesn't in another.
Heck, I have been hired 2 x to spray SH on very old tile roofs, mainly to get the bats out! Man did they ever come out! These old tile roofs were so loose, you could flip them with your little finger. Plus all kinds of crappy repairs etc, leaving small openings. But they came and went, right through the loose tiles.
I also killed a field of grass / weeds for a motel once with my roof mix. You can also clean bare cement driveways and walks using roof mix. Just finished on an hour ago. Just spray away from the grass, not toward it or down it's edge. 90 bucks in 20 minutes, while already there doing the roof ain't bad! Some guys up north use this method to clean the whole house! Softwashing. But down here, everything is preppied out in bushes and grass that costs $2.00 a square ft!

This seemed kind of  no CHEESY at first, but I have had past clients worried about squirels or

birds getting down there pvc vent pipes................

 

I might send out a mailer to my past clients, and also my past estimates?

Just because they didn't go with us for a roof? Maybe they will go with these?smile

I liked the pitch, got it quick, if I needed one of these I would buy it, I have owned quite a few homes and never had the problem that this claims to solve.

I occasionally get the snake in the sewer line phobia every time I'm sitting in the bathroom, I would buy a cap for that.

I found that site because this time of year

I start to think about selling pre-winter roof inspections.

That looks like it would be a interesting mailer. I would suggest replacing Santa in the chimney with bats, clogged gutters or wood rot from ice daming, maybe a needed flashing repair  around a chimney. Can we "borrow" this to use in our advertising?

I may try something like that this year, but adjust
the coupons:

It was messed up on the left side also.
All of those were supposed to be grouped together
or in bullet points , and then = the money going down the drain part.

I used to use the pennysaver here. I dont anymore. The penysaver service section. This spanish dude came in and Lowballed us all out? Me and a friend I made, There were just the 3 of us. In the pennysaver. We kept making him reduce his price, lol!!! My friend is out of business, didnt mean for that to happen, to help I was throwing him all my gutter cleans this spring and summer. Upsell me for roofs, houses etc.

He moved to Delaware.

The pennysaver mindframe is "the cheapest".
