$1.18????? DAM IT MAN! I'm paying $1.84 a gallon My supplier still gets deliveries in the winter but not nearly as much as they get in the summer so it's not as "hot" in the late fall/winter months.
It's WAY hotter then 12% when delivered to my supplier. I talked with a delivery guy just about to take off in an 18 wheeler where I get my goods and he said they make it at around 15%-16%. After I loaded up that day with a fresh batch of SH, when I added water to my tank it looked like I dumped a 5 pond block of dry ice in a tank of water. So much visible vapors where pouring out of the top, I could have re-created " The Creature Form The Black Lagoon" movie.
Agreed...some of the fresh stuff we get here is down right nuclear in strength!!!!!

I had been paying $1.23 at one store and $1.28 at anothe, then a few months ago I found Gormans in Port Charlotte at $1.08 a gallon. So, I buy all I can from them.
I would think in any part of Florida you could do better than $1.84.
You should do some calling around!

I guess where I am, in SW Florida pools are a bigger thing? Most everyone has one. Mine is 14' x 28' Takes quite a bit to maintain and pay to run a 1 1/2hp electric pool pump 9 hours a day in summer and 5 in winter. I hardly ever use it, but my wife and grandkids do. As I said, I buy from 3 different stores-depending on which is handy. One in Englewood 7 miles north of me off rt 776. $1.28 One in Murdock 6 miles south of me on rt 776. $1.08 and one in Punta Gorda 13 miles south on rt 41. $1.23 There a over a dozen more in between. The most famous is Pinch A Penny and they won't give me a bulk rate, they want $1.85

Sure is. And easy to get. Pull up, dump, pay and go.
Pretty much the same here Chuck. Normally the guy who runs that particular shop will just come out and check the level in the tank before and after we load. (Tank is marked ). As far as how strong? It says 12.5% but who knows. All I know is that they get two loads a week and its always strong.
We're @ $2.10 for 1000 gallons at a clip. The product doesnt even start to smell like chlorine until about a week later. Or maybe my nose buds are burned out.

If they get 2 loads a week, it's probably right close to 11 - 12 %.
Mine get about the same- 2 fillups a week. But, it says 10% last time I checked.

Sometimes our jobs smell like dead bodies. I just ordered 10 gallons of fresh wash from powerwash.com. I am going to try it out and see if i can smell a difference. I also want to see if i should keep using the fresh wash or just get a 55er of roof snot from russ.

Thanks Chuck, I had call around to some pool supplier and had ask them how fresh is the SH, the guy told me that its been sitting here for about a month or two. SH is probably at 10% they want $5.99 for two gallon.
