II am just saying that because me and Dan are certified then in the eyes of the customer we are then just as good a contractor as each other. That would be the furthest from the truth. I have seen his work and I am embarrassed to be in the same association as him. That is the point I am making about the cert.

 I totally understand! My friend Larry Millette is also Certified. Usually, we are far enough away from each other, that our paths do not cross. One customer called, and asked me to explain Certification. I did, then she asked me for a price.

I gave her an estimate, and she asked why I was 200 dollars higher then another RCIA Certified Roof Cleaner. It turned out to be Larry, leaving me nowhere to go!

Larry is my very very good friend, He has a different business model then I do. He prices roof cleaning lower then I do, hoping to get the whole house cleaning package. 

Competition is a way of life, in the roof cleaning, and pressure washing business. It is very easy to get into this business cheaply and quickly. 

Mike, I have some suggestions on how to handle competitors in general, that I only talk about on the phone. 

Call me sometime.

I get calls all the time from outside my area, asking for roof cleaning service.

One lady I referred out, asked me point blank "Are they Certified" 

My answer was, "Do you really think I would suggest someone who was NOT Certified" 

If you do a search for roof cleaning tampa on Google, at the bottom of the page, Google suggests related searches.

The Roof Cleaning Institute is being searched for, by people seeking roof cleaning in Tampa!

Guys, you can not "fake this". It is what it is, and Google keeps track! You will also see Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa as being related to a search for Roof Cleaning Tampa.

This means, enough people are searching for me, for Google to associate it with the roof cleaning Tampa search!

There is no "Question" that RCIA Certification works, there is all the proof anyone needs. 

Larry Millette, Myself, and Aaron from Integrity are all Certified Roof Cleaners, here in the Tampa area. ALL of us are doing very well, in argueably THE most competitive roof cleaning market in the USA.

And, I would further argue that Tampa area roof cleaning customers are most likely THE most sophisticated and roof cleaning savvy you can imagine.

Google does not Lie folks! Enough different potential roof cleaning customers ARE searching for the RCIA in Tampa, BY NAME !

Unless you have the RCIA Certified Badge on your website, in a very visible place, God only knows how much work you May be missing out on ?

Remember my friends, getting customers to choose you, over your competitors, is the name of this game, not getting the "acceptance" of dumb fucks on other forums.
