Serving the Pocono and Lehigh Valley(Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Pike and Wayne Counties), PA community as well as both Warren and Sussex Counties of New Jersey
It was posted on a site called Backpage.com that allows for free advertisements. Can't beat free, right ?
I am using what is called VFlyer to make that pretty flyer with all the pics.
VFlyer is not free, it costs about 100 bucks a year, but we feel it is worth it.
It allows an ad that stands out from all the roof cleaning hacks on Craigslist Tampa, and other free ad sites.
VFlyer makes it so easy to post an ad like I just posted. It generates the HTML code, you copy it, and paste it right into your Craigslist or Backpage free ad.
All of us want to reach our customers the lowest cost ways possible.
I like both backpage and Craigslist but the "any house for $99 crowd" has taken them over in this market.
Speaking of lowballing hacks, I noticed someone did a pressure wash groupon this week for $149 for a house up to 2500 square foot AND driveway! Groupon keeps 40%....so this D-bag is out working for about 90 bucks a house (and drive). Let me know how that works out for ya chief!

We have one here in Tampa on Groupon and Angies List, advertising 149.00 house and driveway washes too
These idiots KILL the industry. Their strategy is to low ball the work, to get their foot in the door, like the 9.95 oil change.
Then, they "upsell" (nickle and dime our customers to death!)
When we quote a fair price for a softwashing house cleaning, we look like the evil rip offs, because Joe down the street had his house and driveway cleaned for 149.00.
We have a roof cleaning for 99.00 idiot here in Tampa. He is a pressure washer, and will clean a shithouse size roof for 99.00
Of course, potential customers see it, and when we quote a fair price, we look like the rip offs.

Nice job Hank The more we use free ads to reach our customers, the less it costs us to stay in business, and the better deals we can give our customers!
The interesting thing is eventually these people will disappear! You can't stay in business low balling. Soon they will develop a reputation that no one will want to use their services. They will price themselves out of business. You might lose a few jobs to them, but remember the homeowner is looking for a cheap prices to begin with. Again, explain to the customers why your services are the price they are. You've been in business ... years, they haven't!
I think every town, county, state has these guys around. You have to sell our points. I hate bad mouthing other companies, and never would. But the home owner has to understand. I often say you get what you pay for. And that leads into a bunch of questions.

Exactly. Here in Tampa, we must have 100 of them, advertising roof cleaning on Craigslist, at prices too good to be true. These hacks work alone, and kill plants, strip paint and glaze off of tile roofs, etc, etc.
Most of them don't even have a company, it is Joe Smith you make the check out to, and most will demand Cash Money. So, the customer will have no proof any roof cleaning was ever done.
IF they get too many complaints, they simply use a different name on Craigslist.
Most of my customers want a quality job, but some of them get deceived by low priced roof cleaning outfits, because they fool themselves into thinking all roof cleaning is the same.
