I took a more thorough look at it. Yeah its a large project. I considered if I actually got the call. I would have priced it at $1350.00 + tx for house and roof. If they countered at $1250 or $1200, I would still do it. I wouldnt let it get away at $1200. Less than that would not be smart. The game is a little different for me than it was when I was alone. By myself I would have to carefully pick and choose my jobs. I look at it as this: I'll send out a truck, the guys will come back at the end of the day with the check. Would $1800.00 be better? Chit yeah. I just think youre far more likely to get shopped and outbid at 18.
