I'm not real big on masking...but i haven't had the best track record with blooming roses! Plants are always fine, but the blooms...well not so much. So we just take a little extra time of drape roses

It must not have been too hot of a day... This time of year in Houston Texas the roses would would have died from having been wrapped in plastic due to the heat. We sometimes put used signs from politicins to cover them. In this pic the signs were covering flowers and diverted SH to the grass instead of landing on on the bushes and vines since there were no gutters.

Keep in mind, I only masked those roses for the time that we were cleaning over that area. Was only covered for about 20 minutes, MAX!
