There are very few companies which provide best services to their customers. Bad service removes the faith of customer from your service. This thing can decrease the business. It is necessary to give best service to the customer.
Wow Chuck. That first picture is crazy. And we wonder why people are shaking in their shoes when they have to look for a roof cleaner? That's the reason why! Too many fly by nights running around who have no business being in this business. Great job on the roof cleaning that you did. Hopefully the job you did helps to restore faith in folks that their roofs can be cleaned without damaging them.

The homeowner I worked for told me that this pressure cleaner guy actually spends almost 2 full days pressure washing those roofs! They all run around 2500 -3000 sq ft under roof.
He said the guy comes in an old pickup truck and his wife helps take turns pressure washing.
I went to the HOA there and gave them a list of roofs this guy had destroyed and suggested they look at his damage and at the one I had done that day, to see the difference between ruined and cleaned.
Never heard back from them though?
Thanks!

Forgive me for asking, but how did this guys do this? Too much pressure, or was it a cleaner? Wow!

I didn't personally see him doing the work. My customer, who lives on the same street saw him and said he was using a pressure washing machine and a gun.
He was obviously using very high pressure to do what I saw there 4000 psi + and probably a narrow tip, like a 15 degree [called a chisling tip] that would also explain why it took 2 days to do a roof. Pressure washing tips run 0 then 15, then 25, then 40. For most pressure washing work, you use a 40. So, holding a gun 4" from a roof with a 0 you get a round pencil size hit. With 15 a 2" wide pattern, with 25 a 4" wide pattern and with 40 a 6" wide pattern [just a generalization-not exactly what you will get]
Of course any pressure is going to remove some of the tile's top finish, but using high pressure and small tips, you get a ruined roof. Next time I go in that development, I will get some closeups. It almost looks like on the ridgecaps, it sharp edges are now somewhat rounded here and there.
I have owned my pressure washing business since 1989 and have NEVER seen anything quite like this on tile!
I have seen shingled roofs ruined though. Pressure washing is just the wrong way to clean roofing - especially shingles!

We were on our second roof cleaning yesterday when a neighbor came over to get a card and some information. He pointed out 2 tile roofs that had been pressure washed with high Pressure. Both were discolored and both roofs had lost a lot of the slurry coating and looked terrible. This is when I gave him even more cards.lol. He seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood. People like that make great sales people for your business.

Yes, getting a roof job in a neighborhood where a pressure washer has ruined the appearance of a roof [ this guy did at least 5 or 6 that I saw, without driving through all the streets ] can get you a lot of work, if the right people see the difference there is and get your cards! Word can spread like wildfire, or go a short ways and die out. Mine took the short route. I got 2 more jobs out of that one I did.

Thanks for share some knowledge and good info about Roofs Blasted Pale Pink with pressure washing in Oyster Creek....
Thanks. Yes, unfortunately, from my experience, most homeowners minds think the term "I need my roof pressure washed" that's what a good percentage say, when they call me. Then I explain the facts to them.

I haven't noticed, because I haven't been here much. I have so many medical problems now, I can barely walk [ 3 foot problems- Morton's Neuroma, Hallux Rigidus and Plantar Fascitis.] I have a pair of $200.00 shoes that help a little, but I mostly just sit in the house. I ride the electric cars in Walmart, Home Depot etc. I also tore my rotator cuff Nov 14th and can't afford operations on any of these things until I turn 65 and get medicare in July. That's just the bigger stuff, I still have my nervous condition, some depression, I fell last week and cracked a rib and got the biggest bruise on my thigh I have ever personally seen-couldn't even get up! Plus the common older aged arthritis etc stuff [oh ya, and almost constant stomach ulcers nowadays, inspite of being medicated for them] After the foot and shoulder operations, then I can sit for months and wait to heal and then do physical therepy for another month or so. To tell the truth, I'd prefer to just not wake up tomorrow. Life largely sucks like this!
Back to "Newbie post replies" I guess the rest of us know about all there is to know about spraying roof mix on roofs and protecting plants, so there's not much to ask about anymore-unless you happen to be new?
See ya later Adam,
Chuck

Just came across another roof blasted pale looking. I saw them start on this and tried to get back on time to get a picture when they were done, but I ran late a missed them. This was a husband and wife team, working out of the back of a small old pickup truck. Possibly the same people. I know the name of their business, but won't post it. I get myself into enough trouble by being too flat out frank about some things I consider "Truths" in roof cleaning! This is it.
I have seen them around town cleaning tile roofs too Chuck. Ive learned that there will always be fly by night pressure washers passing themselves off as roof cleaners here in sarasota county. Trying to make that quick buck, with a $100 pressure washer from the pawn shop. Unlike these other cleaning companies we focus on proper cleaning procedures, quality craftsmanship, and most importantly customer satisfaction. Once the customer sees the high quality cleaning power of a soft wash roof cleaning system, they will never call the other roof cleaner again!
And that another great tile roof cleaning picture from Englewood, FL! Keep up the good work!

I've been cleaning roofs this way since late 1991 and have never seen a tile or shingle roof show any discoloration.
Of course, these are not discolored either, they just lost their glaze coating with one high pressure wash job and then either had another done-removing some of the slurry coating [factory paint job] or the sun turned the unprotected slurry coating to chalk, just like paint chalks on house walls etc.
