Do I need a check up from the neck up?

I need some (lots of it) advice. This afternoon I was invited to quote the cleaning of vinyl siding on some town houses. Although I've done exterior soft washing of vinyl siding on a few small ranches, chalets and contemporaries here in the Poconos, but this one has me concerned about how to bid and if my equipment (Delavan pump) can get the work done. I'm the first to admit I have no experience with x-jets, down streaming or anything with pressure washers.

There are nine(9) bldgs. that are 100'x44' (see pictures attached) and the peeks are 40'. Each bldg. is three stories. The algae will come off as I did a test patch on the lower level. The cobwebs are by every light throughout.

My concerns and what I need help with are as follows:

Price per linear foot/per story.

Do I need to step up with a Fatboy Bandit soft wash pump? I'd rather keep away from purchasing or using a pressure washer as I'm trying to educate the public on the advantages of soft washing.

Mix ratios to get me started.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Post here or pm with your ideas.

I can't help you with a square foot as I don't price anything that way. I figure out how long it will take me and how much I want to make in that time. If your solo with a helper figure each building to take a day and go from there. Then add a little extra. IMO

Hank - if you have the luxury of time, feel free to call me over the weekend. Although I don't go after commercial (I just passed a huge commercial  lead on to a friend/colleague, as I focus on residential.)  However; our pressure washer is used for concrete and mansonry.  I'd use my Fat boy rig (on steroids the way I have it set up    

I'd post it, but half-price-Harry will read it and run with it, half price of course...  Gold is trading at $1646...he'd likley sell at $800....

But there's a catch Hank - I haven't had time to go fishin' yet this year.... You've got to clue me in on what's hot in the largemouth and small mouth fisheries

Regarding fishing... research Keitech Swing Impacts and Cabin Creek Spider Parts jigs. Senkos always come to mind as well. The Keitech lures are carried by Tackle Warehouse, Bigfishdotcom and Keitech USA has there own ebay website. If you call ask for Mike and tell him I sent you. He has given me a ton of money over the years.

Back to soft washing. Time is always the issue. They want a quote by the close of business tomorrow. Is it too late to call tonight?

Thanks. The best part of it was about a two weeks ago I called every realtor and property management office in two counties asking them if I could send them an email introducing our services. The email contained an introduction to our services, documentation on our industry as well as before and after photos. This property management firm is the largest in the area.

Hank using a power washer with the right tips and downstreaming is considered a soft wash. You will be able to finish that project more efficiently with a power washer. Using a 12 volt setup to apply the chemical is alright but to rinse you may need a little more pressure that what those pumps can put out. Dont be affraid of pressure washers as they are a great tool if used properly.

 I second this statement! When we cleaned tractor supply company, I applied everything with the fatboy, and then my assistant tech, power rinsed everything. When we left the place was sparkling.

We did an apartment complex last season that had 3 story buildings. Did the whole thing with our fatboy pump. It has no problem reaching the peaks. We also rinsed the buildings with a fatboy. Using the right mix, the dirt and grime, mold come right off.
