It's really a matter of the public being uninformed about what causes it and that there actually is a solution seems to me. I actually had someone tell me they kinda liked the "aged, weathered look" like it was a good thing. At least I got the opportunity to explain the algae stains and how it is a living breathing scumbag feeding and making itself at home on their roof at their expense, as well as the health issues that could arise. Man, if only there was a better way to make them aware of the facts, our business would be in constant demand.
