I used your estimate calculater and ya'll charge less too clean a 2 story than a 3 story? I would think you might want alittle more for that extra story....jmho

Will I struggled back and forth with what to do about the stories.  The reason a 3 story is less than a two, is the same reason a 2 story is less than a 1.

3000sqft all across a 1 story ranch is ALOT of roof.

3000sqft divided by 2 stories is basically only a 1500sqft roof.

Now obviously the higher you go up, the difficulty increases so the price should increase.

I'm open for criticism and my numbers can easily be changed on the calculator. I just think its very useful for a HO to get an idea of how much a cleaning may cost.

Dan, if it makes sense to you that's all that matters. I do see your reasoning.

Calculator for estimating is a great idea! Tire kickers will love it. I think it will help you more than hurt you. I also think it will help with a customer that in on the fence and not sure if they can afford it.

For sure Dan, But the higher I have to go off the ground The more danger of potential risk go up,(falling) the more I charge, I do like your calculater though, very cool....I was just pointing it out, I see what your saying about just a 1 story flat roof, But two storys and even three stories usaully have more gables etc, so It's more of a pain sometimes....Like I said just poking holes...lol

Will I agree. I don't use square footage when estimating. Too many variables don't get accounted for.
