chris what exactly is a pressure trap unloader and are they typically found on a hot water skid unit.

Chris I don't think mine is set up that sophisticated, but thanks for helping out here, because I'm not sure, my mechanic set it up for me.

Lol. Clyde, I would bet thats exactly how yours is set up. It doesn't get any simpler. Some people will add check valves between the whip lines and the tee.

I've never used check valves when hooking 2 machines together and have never had a problem. I say they are not necessary. There's a post on pwi discussing this topic. It seems the opinion over there is the same, not necessary.

Russ over on PWI sells a set up. It even has back flow valves on it so pressure can't come back to one machine from the other. I have one that I use from time to time. Works great.

I wouldent think you need check valves but its a good idea for if one machine shuts down or somthing so dosent backfeed pressure

Another good reason is that you can use one machine if you need less flow.

That is the only thing I do besides Cleaning Roofs and Pressure wahsing....
