DAN I get them at 123print.com. They have good service and you design it your self. I only put them out randomly. If I see a house that needs cleaning I drop one off. Some times I walk up to the house and slide it under the vinyl siding lock by the garage door. The mail box thing can be a pain. When I do a few here and there. I don't get a call from the postman. If I get a call I switch to bandit signs close by on the main road out. You need to switch things around to get the phone to ring. I do a little of everything.

Right on Art, a little bit of everything!

I wish I lived in a better area than I do, their is a possibility I might be relocating further North Jersey? I usually drive up North, but I rather be there permanently, time will tell.

 Dan I get them at 123Pring.com. You design it yourself on there program. Its easy to do. Don't buy alot. maybe 500 at a shot. This way you can change things as you go.

Curious about the response rate that fellow roof cleaners are getting  for flyers/door hangers.

I'm reading about a 2 to 4 % response. Are you putting flyers on everyone's home or just to those homes that need roof cleaning.  That sure makes a difference on response rate.

What about those of you using direct mail?

When we do flyers we put them on every house. We do more than just roof cleaning though.

I would throw to every house, Never had a complaint about rock/flyer/baggy I actually get compliments on how creative the idea is, Plus that person with a clean roof might know somebody with a dirty, Or when theirs gets dirty in the furture
they know it can be cleaned.... You also can't see the back of their house, Sometimes it's the part you can't see that needs the cleaning....Word of mouth

We had a couple complaints about the rock fliers. They are too time consuming. To design, buy rocks, clean rocks, dry rocks, stuff and seal and then deliver. We still have about 6-8k more, so we'll see how they do.

I put out about 20 door hangers out this week. I got my first call today. The home owner said "I'm calling about the $25.00 of a complete house wash" I spent a good amount of time designing the card and he picks up on $25.00 Off. Thanks for the advice guys, It worked.
