I am out of pain medication, and the pain in my leg from Sciattica is severe today. So, I just got a call from some guy in Pennsylvania who power washes roofs. He wanted to know how we clean them from the ground. I tod him to come here. But, unlike most callers, he insisted I tell him how to do it.
Finally, I yelled at him, told him this is a business, and I make my money teaching people to clean roofs. (not true)
I finally got rid of him when I hung up on his rude azz.
I don't him or anybody chit. And I am not going to tell him how to cut my friends up in Pennsylvania throats, especially for free.
I send everyone that calls me here, they can learn just like everyone else.
Should've told him to use a zero tip and powerwash up which would have blown shingles off and got his azz thrown off the job. PA guys don't need more competition from powerwashers doing $99 jobs.
If they are not willing to take the time to learn the right way then they will only become lowball'n hacks.

He was unbelievably Rude, and that was very stupid. He thought it was his god given right to be told how to do it. Usually, those wanting to take shortcuts by attempting to "pick my brain" are fast buck artists who take "shortucts" selling and pricing a job. IOW, they are hacks and low ballers, people we don't need out there cleaning roofs.
Chris, you've given more away than most people, and more than most people will ever learn, put it all in a book and will produced video and when you get calls like that, tell them that you are more than happy to share for 295.00. I remember when I was young and working in a gas station, if you asked me for direction with the wrong attitude, I returned it with wrong information.

I swear, I get enough calls seeking roof cleaning information, I would probably make a lot of money if I ever did just that.
I've had a few rude calls from northerners. Once a guy called right after noon on Sunday and commence to talk my ear off with that awful sounding twang (no offense guys:) I didn't think I'd ever get off the phone!
