A to Z Roofing is a certified installer for leaf relief! This is in my opinion the best gutter guard on the market! It is the only one we will install.
has anyone else here installed this product by Alcoa?
It''s not all that. I got certified a few years ago. The debri Does pile up on top of the guard. In the small writing on the guarantee it states the occasional blowing the top of guard is neccisary. I loved it to till I started getting call backs. Sory man.
Maybe Maryland has some funky leaves lol. I have been using it since I first heard of it awhile back and have yet to get a call back on it. If I do start getting call back then indeed I will go to something else.
I have a gutter guard with a lifetime warranty & I feel comfortable installing it down here in pine needle central. I hate PM's but if you email me I'll tell you what it is. If you're not a premium member don't email. It's nothing personal, just business, as they say.
I love how in their comparison chart that they compare it to Gutter Topper. Completely different type of gutter cover. Gee, why don't they compare it to "The Leaf Terminator?" I don't care for the ones that sit flat on top of the gutters. Like a ledge for needles and leaves to sit on.

I have installed a few different types and leaf relief seems to work the best. It looks the best by far, because you can't even see it. It even strengthens the gutter when installed with the gutter. I have seen a few of them on my yearly maintenance calls and they were free of debris. Of course I haven't inspected all of them, but those I did were clear.
We install those (Leaf Relief) and have for a long time, no complaints ever. With any gutter filter system there are limits, Gutter Helmet in my opinion is an awful design. It may keep leaves and debris out but it will also keep out a good rain, spills over and makes the gutters a mute point. We are doing some repairs and a roof clean in Mi.(spring) for a Dr. that had these installed and they channeled the water into her house and wiped out a 5k wood anderson doorwall. They also added a long splash guard on the runner and screwed it right into the shingles.. can you say leak! lol

I was charging 11 a foot. for leaf relief. Ive just seen to many gutters with debri built up on top of the leaf relief to sell it with a good concious anymore.
Leaf relief knows this and it's in the fine print of the guarantee paperwork.

Exactly what I was thinking Mike. Anything that sits flat is going to get build up on it. It looks like a trough sitting there. I use The Leaf Terminator which goes under the first row of shingles and screws into the front lip of the gutter. It is at a slant so leaves slide off.
