The job looks pretty straightforward to me. the downspouts aren't unloading in a vegetable garden, the pitch is manageable (may be 8 or 10/12 on the section on the right), not too high, not insanely infested, not too large. Just make sure you get 1000 before and after shots so you have some take away from the job since you aren't charging anything. also, if you end up doing it on a windy day, be ready to prewet and rinse alot of stuff. also, windows like that with the full screens can be hard to tell when overspray has hit them .

The first pic has algae but the white stuff is Lichen and moss building up, that is going to take some time to disintegrate from the roof, best is to leave it alone to decompose naturally, the second one you shoould walk away from the job with it completely transformed.
The lichen & moss will changes colors when you hit it with the mix, just give it a few passes, pre-treat if you will, then re-hit it during the over-all application. Then just leave it and mother nature will do the rest. about 2 months or so. It varies.

Thats alot of lichens, so severe I would tell the customer roughly 3 months until desired results. I would also mildly suggest possible roof damage hiding under the lichens. It could possibly have eaten most of the granules underneath. You dont necessarIly need a stronger mix. Just make sure you treat the lichens to the roots.

Very Nice Ed I was thinking the same thing. You must warn the person on the front roof...no if ands or butts about it you will have granuel loss that will be visable! How servere we wont know until it comes clean...THATS WHY IT MUST BE DONE THIS WAY,allowing it to die,decompose releasing its hold of the shingle leaving as many granuels as possible behind. Then you must be ready for their next question which will be....so then should I just get a new roof? And your answer will be? { you gotta always figure their question so you not caught by suprise }
