12 v dont take up alot of space and they seem to do the job. Im not knocking 12v, but for my 1st system i want to make the right choice.

trust me start with a 5800 delavan until you get used to the flow anything more will kill tons of plants you really don't need ten gallons a minute!

I wasn't trying to open up a debate about whether 12V or AODD pumps are better. I own both and have cleaned many roofs with both. As Ed said, they both have their +'s & -'s especially when you have employees out in the field.

For the purposes of this rig, I want the 12V set up. That is what is currently on it now and I want to keep it that way when I transfer it to the new set up.

Ed, I have a 2gpm pump sitting in a box as a spare. Maybe I will just plumb two pumps in and stick with the fatboy. Maybe I'll look into the Fatboy with the internal bypass. I'll have to think about it.
