It's for CAT adjusters, and it's very reasonably priced.  If you know the stuff presented there, there'll be a lot less pucker factor and fewer guys wishing they had used real standoffs approved for the roof, versus stabilizers meant to keep you a distance from vertical.

I agree that basic training is simple, and I understand the point about over-certification, etc.  However, there'll be something in Mike's cert suggestion, that only took a few minutes, that'll jog the memory when you're out there.  To me, stuff like this is well worth a review now and then.

It may be silly if you had just that alone, but if you have a compilation of safety-related creds, as Bruce has, it may show dedication to the industry beyond that of just some guy spraying soap on a roof.

well the guy fell in the vid because in the safety course i took only do one step at a time and donr be in a hury, he shouldve took a course in safety!! lol!!!

I don't need a safety course to tell me that. It's called common sense. I just watched on tv "Dumbest things on wheels". I saw some really really stupid things done on a bicycle. I don't need a safety class to tell me not to do something that stupid. Here is a pic of 2 low life pukes trying to steal copper. I don't need an electrical safety certificate to tell me not to do that. But I do understand there are some people out there that do...lol

 My opinion is Bruce should take those certificates off his web site. If I was a customer and saw those certs. for Hazmat Emergency response. I wouldn't hire him. I would think he is bringing and using Hazardous chemicals on my property. I wouldn't want hazardous material to even enter the mind of my customer. JMHO
