I have always rinsed out my hoses when I finish everyday. Two different parts have failed on this reel in 1 1/2 years. My next reel will be a Hannay. They are made a few hours east of me in upstate NY.

Never tried a Hannay Hose Reel for roof cleaning, but they have a good reputation in other lines of work.

One day, hose reel companies will wake up, and realize stainless steel is not the final answer for a roof cleaning hose reel.

Maybe THICK Stainless Steel, but not thin stainless tubing for the manifolds, especially when welded.

The WELD gets attacked, so the only answer is to make the Manifold thicker, so you can put a thicker bead on it.

And, the Mig Welding Machine needs to use special high nickel content wire, to be as chemically resistant as possible.

I may as well get some. My wife laughs at me because I have so much stuff on my rig and in the truck, including a hydraulic jack a vice, a million tools, extra pumps etc. She says I should just build two rigs with all of the extras.
