Help on gutter price.

Had a roof cleaning today and the homeowner asked to have the gutters cleaned out around the pool enclosure. This was a 8/12 pitch roof (max walkable for me) and the screen enclosure was buttt right up to the gutter and a straight 60' of it. Normal gutters are a pain in the azz to begin with but these are even worse. I gave him my normal, linear foot guttern cleaning price but half way thru, I knew he got the better deal. So I guess what I'm getting at is, do you charge more if you have to get on the roof to clean out gutters when there are screen or pool enclosures attached?

You always charge more for obstacles in your way!

Thanks Phil. Also...they might not be OSHA approved but I am seriously thinking about one of AC's roof anchors after a few sphincter clinching moments.

That's true Gary. I'm going to have a welder do a few odds and ends to the trailer and I'm sure he'll be able to slap one together in short order.

On challenging jobs, you can go in with an hourly approach, such as:
Gutter cleaning services will be completed on a time and material basis. Labor is charged at $75.00 per man-hour. We usually send 2 men ($150.00 per hour) plus materials. There is a minimum charge of $150.00. The time begins when the crew arrives, there is no charge for travel time.
AC's anchors are definitely not OSHA approved but will at least give you a little protection, plus the screen will slow you down!
