I was using my iphone 3gs but i just bought the new iphone 4s. They said that the camera is alot better. I was thinking about buying a tri-pod with a nice camera to shoot video and snap some pics.
Funny Eric, I kept a tripod on the truck for months but never used it. I pulled it out once and forgot it on the job. I abandoned it. Was considering Norman Rockwell paintings of all my promo work.
@ Gary-Thanks for the tip. Guess i'll stick with my phone then. I always have it with me anyway. I will have to start marking my spot so, before and after pics look the same. I have been concentrating on roof cleaning....need work on photography skills! LOL
@ Art-my son has one, nice camera.
@ Ed-LOL, I would have probally done the same thing, left camera and all!
I really like the 12x optical zoom on my Kodak of all things. It was an open box and too good of a deal to pass up, and all I was concerned about was that zoom power anway. (I spend quite a bit of time in the boat, canoe or on the trails somewhere and that zoom really helps with wildlife photos.)
16.2MEGA PIXELS 30X OPTICAL ZOOM FULL 1080P MOVIE AND PIC Also shoots 3-D pics A good investment, can show customers actual up close HD pics without them getting on the roof

I like the Flip Video camera and a tripod. You do not get sea sick watching the videos. The software it comes with makes it easy to edit & upload to you tube.

I use an Olympus Stylus, but cut the resolution down to 5 MP for ease in uploading the photos to websites. I notice I do have a lot of problems with color variation due to the sun with this camera, but that may be totally normal.

I have a to-do list for all my roof cleaning needs, the camera is high on the list. Keep in mind black Friday is coming up, now a days you can get black friday deals just by going online. IPhone is good, but no real zoom. A nice 10-16 megapixel for under $100 is a very good possibility on black Friday.
LOL I'm 23, I know the iPhone has a zoom. I'm surprised half you old fogies have smart phones. but I think to build a nice website you want some quality pictures, something that can emphasize how dirty some of these roof really are.
Haha I figured, that comment wouldn't fly under the radar. I think it's great you guys are using the smart phones. If you don't keep up with the times, they will pass you by. I'm here to make sure you keep up with the times.
