Not me, my friend. That's money rolling off the roof. I'll stick it out to see if it dies down, but if it's a persistent sprinkling, I will reschedule and do something else. I'll wash a house rain or shine though.

Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing in Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, Maryland
We TRY not to, here is why. That slow drip of chem off a roof when you finish will KILL plants. IF you do spray when there is a drizzle, it is best to completely rinse the roof, then rinse the ground.
By the way, a wet roof cleans up really nice, especially if you are using TSP !
It just takes the chem a little longer to work is all.
Do NOT splash and dash, or walk away from a roof you have just cleaned in a drizzle w/o rinsing.
Good advice, Chris. I got burned bad on a house that drizzled right after I left! Not me, physically, a bush that was conveniently right at the downspout and an unfortunately victim..

Almost all homes here have gutters, and being a painter rain days are when I catch up on pressure washing and roof cleaning. I normally just add a little more sh.
We have done quite a few in the rain so far. Like Tom said, most of our homes here have gutters so that helps. Instead of concentrating on the landscape as much, we focus on the down pipe areas with our watering. It does use a little more mix than normal as Phil stated.
As long as it is a light drizzle, and only if I am in the middle of it. I always ck the weather to ensure proper conditions, some times you just have no choice.
Tom is alot of your painting outside work? i would think that a rainy day would be a great painting day(inside of course). I never like to clean a roof in the rain wether it be lite or heavy. I just move them around to the next dry day and schedule some power washing on rainy days. 99% of people understand but there is always that 1% that dont and get mad becuase you made it rain( and it ain't money).
