Maybe because of who I am, I have never experienced bad treatment from anyone at PWP.

In fact, both Lori and her father have bent over backwards to help me with hose reel problems I was having.

I wish I lived closer to them to be honest.

When someone is raising their voice in anger for no reason other than because an email was sent asking for a return phone call or email to place an order, then there is a problem.

By the way, this is my email to him:

"Hello Rex,

I've called a few times and sent an email, but I'm having a hard time getting a return call so I can place an order.. I'm sure you guys are busy, but I hope I can get this order in today as I called early yesterday and began placing an order, but had a few questions that couldn't be answered by the very nice service representative that I spoke with.

A roof cleaning friend mentioned a suction hose with a filter on the end of it that is 12' long and can easily be moved from tank to tank for cleaning, transferring, or rinsing (the pump). I'd like to order this for my current setup, which is 1/2" all the way around. I would consider upgrading the size of the hose, but I cannot quite afford to upgrade the entire setup at the moment. Would it be bad for the pump if I upgraded the size of the hose on the input side of the pump and left the rest 1/2" until I could upgrade the rest?

Just be glad you didnt need it badly with a truck down, have them tell you it should be there anyday, call every few days then on the 3rd week they tell you its on backorder, THEN have Rex yell at you, then have them tell you they already refunded your money when they didnt, then file a claim dispute with the bank to get your money. I couldnt imagine something like that ever happening to anybody.
Dude at least Bob will make you feel stupid in a calm voice when you ask dumb questions, but he'll never yell at you.

My friend drives Chevy Trucks, so all Fords are shit. Rex sells All Flo, so Yamada is shit.

Ed, that sucks. I remember your thread now that I read your post. Bob has made me feel like a dumbass before, so has Tracy with Sunbrite, but I do ask some bonehead questions sometimes since I admittedly don't know WTF I'm doing when I have to call them, lol. I guess dumb questions are bound to come from an IT nerd converted to a roof cleaner, but we gotta ask or we'll never learn! I'm fine with that and expect some odd silence when I ask a question with the wrong terminology, or something that is probably pretty basic, it's just not cool when someone cops a huge attitude towards you for no damn reason. Hell, had I even gotten the chance to ask a dumb question and then he got irritated, I'd probably still be fine with it, but I didn't even get to ask anything before he went off, all I did was introduce myself!

I'm over it now, but this should be a lesson for all of us? A happy customer may not tell anyone how truly happy he or she is all that often, but a pissed off customer will often tell A LOT of people how they felt about a company that provided them with bad service.
